A Study of The Political Condition of Kerman Seljuks
Abstract
In this article, I try to explore the political structure of the Saljuqs of Kerman(442-582 A.H). The founder of this dynasty, Kavurd, established a powerful regional government that lasted about 150 years. The Period of his ruling was the period of Settlement of the Seljuks of Kerman that was accompanied by disobedience to Great Seljuks. But if they were in a weak position, they would submit to the allegiance of Great Saljuqs in case of protecting their kingdom. The heyday of Seljuks of Kerman government is related to Arsalanshah Kingdom. The last 20 years of Seljuks of Kerman government is reckoned as its interval period because of the appearing of continues war for succession which finally was accompanied with the falling of Seljuks at the same time with Ghuz arrive at Kerman.
