Bamdad: the Organ of The Association of Guilds Union in Tehran

Abstract

The Association of Guilds Union was established with the beginning of the first Assembly and it was one of the influential and active association during this period. The association which had been composed of various guilds groups tried to increase The self-consciousness of guilds groups. The Association of Guild union reactioned  to important events and to express for its apprehensions and viewpoints about different problems and published a weekly.
In The beginning, the weekly was published in the name of guild society (anjomane-asnaf). After some time, its name changed and was published in the name of bamdad(morning). This journal acted as an organ of the Association of Guilds Union. Some of constitutionalist elites, such as Yahyah Doulat-abadi cooperated with publishing this journal. Doulat-abadi was in contact with guilds association from the beginning of its establishment. He acted as an advisor for association. This article studies the views of  Bamdad journal. There were only a few numbers of this journal. These numbers have shown The effect of  constitutional revolution upon evolution of guilds thoughts.
